Joshua Catholic Men's
Fellowship is presently established in the Auckland, Hamilton, Palmerston North,
Wellington
and Christchurch Diocese of the Catholic Church in New Zealand.
PUBLIC MEETINGS:
Joshua Fellowship meets once a month.
The meeting is held with the aim of giving all the glory to Jesus and allowing the Holy Spirit to minister to
each man present.
Joshua Fellowship does
not espouse or promote in any way any particular cause or organisation
without the express permission of the committee.
MONTHLY MEETING GENERAL
FORMAT:
The meeting includes readings of the day, prayer, testimony, teaching, praise
and worship and prayer ministry. When a chaplain is present the Sacrament of
Reconciliation is available.
The teaching is aimed at
revealing the power of God, to bring new light and understanding into
everyday personal, family and work place situations.
Experienced men in good
standing in the church are available for personal prayer ministry.
FELLOWSHIP:
Joshua believes that fellowship is
very important. Accordingly, time is allowed both before and after meetings
so that men can share their lives, however briefly, in simple friendship. For
this purpose tea or coffee are available after each meeting.
